    When a business tries to understand the mind of a consumer they listen to what they have to say. 
    It could be an irate customer on Twitter, a bad product review on one of your sales channels or a facebook status update about how they absolutely loved your service.
    The problem however, is that the insight you are looking for is buried in 25 million words, across 5 directories, 325 text files and the internet. Even knowing where to start is a challenge to any human being.
    So if you currently work with medicine, media, market research, journalism or oceanography you are most likely floating waist deep in unstructured data. And to put things in perspective, man has generated 90% of data we have today, in just the last 2 years.

    Judging by how big data grows, we will be eclipsing this number before you know it. If you plan on keeping your business relevant or your career up to date, learning text analytics can be a deciding factor.
    This workshop is meant to be fluid and hands-on. The modules that students will build will revolve around:
